How it Started

Where Creative Partnership Took Flight

Our partnership with Duck Creek Technologies began in 2021 with a shared vision: to transform their events into immersive, brand-driven experiences. It all started with Formation, their flagship customer conference, where we introduced a new level of creative strategy, spatial design, and experiential engagement.

Since then, we’ve expanded our role to support additional programs including Global Kickoff (GKO) and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) events — evolving from a vendor into a trusted extension of their team.

Exhibit Design & Production Support

As Formation became Duck Creek’s premier customer conference, 82 South was trusted to elevate the exhibit experience from every angle — blending thoughtful design, high-impact production, and seamless show execution.

We developed a unified Exhibit Design strategy that allowed over 50 partner booths to feel connected, while still giving each exhibitor a branded, custom presence. From scalable layouts to branded signage and traffic flow planning, every detail was aligned with the Formation aesthetic.

Our Exhibit Production team brought those designs to life with custom-built displays, clean fabrication, and flawless delivery — ensuring consistency, quality, and visual impact across the entire expo floor.

To complete the experience, we handled Exhibit Show Services, including logistics coordination, install and dismantle, partner communication, and on-site troubleshooting. The result was an immersive, highly functional exhibit environment that supported both Duck Creek’s partners and Formation’s overall event goals.

Event Design & Fabrication

82 South partnered with Duck Creek to deliver end-to-end event design and production services for two of their most important internal experiences: the Global Kickoff (GKO) and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) gatherings. Each event required a unique balance of inspiration, functionality, and brand alignment — and our team delivered with precision and creativity.

For GKO, we developed immersive stage designs, dynamic content environments, and high-energy visual storytelling to energize teams and align them around shared goals. Our production team handled everything from lighting and audio to scenic design and motion graphics, ensuring a seamless and polished experience from the first cue to the final closing.

For the more intimate SLT events, we crafted elevated environments designed to foster focus, collaboration, and strategic conversation. Clean aesthetics, thoughtful lighting, and discreet production allowed the content to shine without distraction, all while reinforcing Duck Creek’s premium internal culture.

With both programs, we served as a true extension of the Duck Creek team — delivering seamless execution, intentional design, and events that connected on every level.

Digital Signage

To enhance partner visibility and elevate the attendee experience at Formation, 82 South deployed a network of XPCANVAS digital displays throughout the exhibit floor. These sleek, high-resolution units gave over 50 partners the ability to showcase custom content — from brand messaging and product videos to motion graphics — in real time.

By integrating XPCANVAS signage across the show environment, we created a unified digital ecosystem that added energy, flexibility, and modern polish to the expo experience. Each display was fully managed by our team, ensuring seamless scheduling, content updates, and on-site functionality.
