Re-Imagining CRUSH City Virtual Event
Year 2 of Avalara CRUSH Virtual event, titled “Re-Imagined,” builds upon the 2021 edition. We are tasked with creating and delivering an interactive immersive virtual experience for Avalara CRUSH Global Virtual event scheduled for May 17, 2022, with early access to certain features starting May 9, 2022, aimed at facilitating connections between customers and Avalara employees. The platform needed to feature:
- 1 Accounting shop with multiple concurrent learning streams.
- 10 industry-specific “shops,” including segments for Small Business and Enterprise.
- 1 Customer shop with multiple concurrent learning streams.
- 1 Partner shop with multiple concurrent learning streams.
The Pitch
Interactive “Choose Your Adventure” Journey
In addition to presenting our proposal to meet the client’s specified requirements, we introduced a user-driven “choose your own adventure” journey. This innovative approach not only catered to participant preferences but also enabled us to track interactions and identify areas of interest effectively.
The Results
Enhanced Experience, Widespread Participation
Our efforts resulted in a significantly enhanced and modernized user experience, leading to impressive outcomes: 7,834 registrants from over 93 countries, accompanied by 8,811 emoticon reactions during main stage sessions. The event achieved a total of 31,286 engagements across various touch points, reflecting widespread participation and positive interaction.
